Frozen Appendages, Faulty Heaters...

So....cold.

My hands are barely able to type this.

I think they're going to actually going to fall off.

And I really like my hands too.

Without them I couldn't write...or type....or -gasp- change songs on my i-pod!

Well, I guess I could, but not easily.

I'd have to use my feet, or something.

Oh, and not only are my hands frozen from the snow/ice chunk I decided to (erm...attempted to) hurl at my idiotic neighbor, but my feet are frozen too, because I can't really walk in the middle of the street for the four blocks it takes to get from the bus-stop to my school, (my house is like, one inch away from the maximum length a house can be away from a bus stop. Great, huh?) because then I would get run over my various suburbanites in their minivans and gas-guzzlers. And so I am forced to walk on the sidewalk, with freezing white-stuff up to my ankles.

-shivers- Ugh, is anyone else trapped in a white-(un)wonderland, or is it just me?

Well, on that jolly note, I will stop complaining and wish everyone (who are not currently pleading for their dysfunctional heater to work) good day....

Amazing...

-yawn-

I'm bored, so I'm just going to post pointless things on the blog over and over again.

Hmmm...what to write about...

-gets idea-

So...last night I watched Amazing Grace.

Or, I should say I was forced to watch Amazing Grace.

But, for a movie that I had to be forced into watching, it was actually pretty good.

Amazing Grace is a movie about the man who stopped the slave trade for Great Britain. Half of the movie is in flashbacks, and the other half is in his current life, when he is sick and suffering from some blood-cell disease, and has failed to abolish the slave trade.

Long story short, the flashbacks are him telling this one girl that he meets in his current life about how he failed.
After the flashbacks are over, they decide they are in love, they get married, he gets well, and then with the help of his old friends finally gets rid of the slave trade for Britain.

The acting was good, very dramatic, and the cast was made up of mostly character actors that were recognizable.
And, although everyone says they hate educational/political/hisorical movies, sometimes learning something in a movie is good for you...

Happy Holidays

Ok, so should I even try to explain to you why I was gone for four months? Why I did not blog for the longest time in the history of normally active bloggers?

Well, the truth is, I don't know what happened.

Maybe I got overwhelmed by school. Or by friends. Or by other various activites.

Or maybe, I was just going through a writing break.

But, whatever the real reason was, I'm back. Hopefully, for good.

So, this is the first post in the last few months that is not comprised of horrible poetry, and it's sure to not be the last.

I hope all the wonderful people who commented in the past can forgive me for disappearing. And I wish them all a wonderful winter season.

Happy Holidays Everyone,

-Caitlin

First Snow

Dazling, dancing, on my face.
The snowflakes fall into their place.
Creating patterns so divine.
Invading memories, stopping time.

I breath in deep, I love this air.
That carries flakes unto my hair.
They spin a song of wintertime.
A whisper of music so sublime.

Covering me with a wonderous white.
A color clashing with this dark night.
I listen to the music and then I fear.
That the coming spring is far too near.
